in this page , the articles are listed , though this website is buit with Joomla but javascript , ajax and regular expression works on all platforms ... now take an example of just three speeches ,

now in href, /index.php/speeches/ will always be constant , i just only want to get and read the id of each article in <a> link, that is in first link i want to read 986 , in second i wanna read 985 in third i want to read 981 ... and so on ...
how to achieve it will RegularExpression or through jQuery ?
