Can i restore database backup file from SQL Server 2012 into SQL Server 2008

hiI buy host that they use sql2012 in this hostin my PC I installed sql2008 if I take backup from databasesql2012 can I restore it in sql2008Best regardsneda

Hi nedashNo you cant If you have 2008 backup you can restore in 2012 but not the viceversa For that you have to generate the script and run the script in lower version
