Hi,

I need to get a part of string value:

var mystring = "https://res.cloudinary.com/hspa/image/upload/v1123455/test2/eid.jpg"

So the first part is always the same "https://res.cloudinary.com/hspa/image/upload/v1123455/" then comes the foldername (different each time). "test2" then comes the image name "eid.jpg". I need to get the folder name from the string, how to acheive that?

Hi,

Here's you can get Folder Name.

You can split the string using slash(/) character.

string mystring = "https://res.cloudinary.com/hspa/image/upload/v1123455/test2/eid.jpg";
string folderName = mystring.Split('/')[mystring.Split('/').Length - 2];

VB.Net

    Dim mystring As String = "https://res.cloudinary.com/hspa/image/upload/v1123455/test2/eid.jpg"
    Dim folderName As String = mystring.Split("/"c)(mystring.Split("/"c).Length - 2)
