You cant simply play the videos without using video object or media player.

Can you let me know where you are storing the videos i.e. Videos in folder and their path in database or videos stored in binaray format in database?

How you are trying to display them either single or in list?

How many videos format you are trying to display in your site i.e. mp4,wmv and etc?

For eg. Whether the user gets the list of video files and when he clicks on one of it then the video player gets displayed and video plays or something else?
