[Solved] ASP.Net Error: StartTag: invalid element name

Question

helloi completed the file upload function in the local Visual studio todayi upload to the staging server to do the final test and this is the pathhhdstp02webdev03HUSRwebapplicationdefaultaspx but then when i click on it then its give me this error but i dont know where i can fix iterror on line 1 at column 2 StartTag invalid element name Below is a rendering of the page up to the first errorplease help me to point the to the right direction thank you

Hi phonghueIt appears that browser tries to display what it thinks is an XML file since it gives an error on the second character of the first line So the file is not parsed but simply returned as is immediately Check if your IIS server is configured correctlyPlease verify that virtual directory is configured properly in cpanel and put your total code files in a wwwroot folder under the directory which is configured in your cpanel virtual directoryIt might help youCheers Andrea
