Dear All,

I have a survey application consists of 36 questions with options as

Strongly Agree(5)

Agree(4)

Neutral(3)

Disagree(2)

Strongly Disagree(1)

Sample table:

CREATE TABLE [dbo].[survey](
[Emp_Id] [varchar](50) NOT NULL,
[Question1] [int],[Question2] [int],[Question3] [int],[Question4] [int],[Question5] [int] ,[Question6] [int] ,
[Question7] [int] ,[Question8] [int] ,[Question9] [int] ,[Question10] [int], [Question11] [int], [Question12] [int] ,
[Question13] [int], ) ON [PRIMARY]

GO

Result:

11111

I want to display the survey result as options selected by the user’s percentage.

Question 1

Option selected (5) by 80%

Option selected (4) by 90%

Option selected (3) by 70%

Option selected (2) by 60%

Option selected (1) by 10%

You can use Bar / Pie Charts and display your results. But following has to be done using Custom code.

Which at present we don't have information.

SELECT AVG([Question1]) AS AverageQuestion1
FROM [HRSurvey].[dbo].[Staff_Satisfaction_Survey]

I was quering the data but i'm getting the whole average don't what's the answered by the user. Can you tell me how can i differentiate the answers i.e. if 5,4,3,2,1 for question1

You can get By Matching column with value for question like below

SELECT (SELECT ISNULL(AVG([Question1]),0) FROM   [HRSurvey].[dbo].[Staff_Satisfaction_Survey] WHERE [Question1] = 1) AS AverageQuestion1
	   ,(SELECT ISNULL(AVG([Question1]),0) FROM  [HRSurvey].[dbo].[Staff_Satisfaction_Survey] WHERE [Question1] = 2) AS AverageQuestion2
	   ,(SELECT ISNULL(AVG([Question1]),0) FROM  [HRSurvey].[dbo].[Staff_Satisfaction_Survey] WHERE [Question1] = 3) AS AverageQuestion3
	   ,(SELECT ISNULL(AVG([Question1]),0) FROM  [HRSurvey].[dbo].[Staff_Satisfaction_Survey] WHERE [Question1] = 4) AS AverageQuestion4
	   ,(SELECT ISNULL(AVG([Question1]),0) FROM  [HRSurvey].[dbo].[Staff_Satisfaction_Survey] WHERE [Question1] = 5) AS AverageQuestion5

 SELECT (SELECT ISNULL(AVG([Question1]),0)) / count([Question1])*100 AS AverageQuestion5 FROM  [HRSurvey].[dbo].[Staff_Satisfaction_Survey] WHERE [Question1] = 5

I'm calculating the percentage it's give me 200 Value.
