Based on the following article:

Show progress bar on Button Click in ASP.Net

The scenario works well on buttons click, but except on buttons which download or open a file like a PDF file.

The issue is that the progress bar still keep runing indefinetely after clicking on the button that downloads the file.

What is the way arround?
