I have a store table that sells by carton, rolls, packets. Please how do i structure the table to fit this type of sells?
SHop A has these items
Shoes, Cloths, Belt etc
They have 50 cartons of cloths, 50 cartons of shoes and 50 cartons of Belts
Now they sell cloths by carton that is customer can only buy shoes per carton while Belts they only buy by rolls, that is if there is 12 rolls of belt in a carton customers can buy per roll not per carton. On shoes cutomers can buy per packet that is if there are 12 parckets in a carton customers can buy per packet.
Customrs Item QTY price
James Cloths 1 $200 Peter Belt 2 $50
Mary Shoes 5 $500
Now james bought 1 carton of cloths, peter bought 2 rolls of belt in a carton while mary bought 5 packets of shoes in a carton.
Now how do i structure the store table so that when sells are made it will reduct the qty from the store. My challenge is that the qty are not the same some are sold by carton while some items are sold by rolls while some are sold by packets.
If i have to use this example link below how do i apply that since the qty are either percaton qty, or per roll qty or per packet qty
