How do i display a panel by clicking a button inside datalist

Refer:

1. Get DataList Row details on Button Click in ASP.Net

No the link you gave me is not what I want, I don't need to pull record by button click,  I just want to display an empty panel which I placeed inside the datalist as html,  I just want to make it visible by clicking a button

I have a panel and a button,  but I want the panel to be hiden, so that once a user cklicks the button the panel well be visible.
