Show (Display) N records per row using ASP.Net DataList in C# and VB.Net

Ho w to show Data in listview or something else instead of Gridview

Table 

ID, Name, Designation

I have 8 rows in this table that is showing in gridview in 8 rows perfectly.

Now we need to show them Horizontally in four column, which will generate show result in two rows. 

Please help how to could I show them
