Create Online Chat using ASP.Net and C#

Hi all,   Am looking forward to developing online chat  using Asp.net with c#, please advice me that how would i create online chat application in Asp.net ? Because i have zero knowledge in online chat . So please let me know if you have any code or else give me an idea how i create? thanks in advance.
