Remove duplicate values from dropdownlist

Hi,

I have hard coded and added items to dropdownlist ie teamsize as 1,2,3 like that.

When i load this dropdownlist for edit/update i get duplicate values like this

4... How do i eliminate this duplicate values?

I tried even that does not work..

When i select a row in gridview i must populate the dropdownlist with the selected values.. But no duplicates should be there in dropdownlist
