Great that you have given solution to fix the header in gridview. I have gridview placed inside panel and allowed paging. I have used the code which is in the link http://www.aspsnippets.com/Articles/Scrollable-GridView-with-Fixed-Headers-in-ASP.Net.aspx and http://www.aspsnippets.com/Articles/Scrollable-GridView-with-Fixed-Headers-using-jQuery-Plugin.aspx. The problem is with the alignment. Is there any solution for this?

It is very difficult to fix the aligment issue if the gird is binded dynamically.

So it is adviceable to go for fixed header using jquery and dont give the height for the grid view so that the grid view will not get scrolleed and you have the fixed header.
