Change the Value of Parent Dropdown using Jquery and the child will show the data

I am just using this article, and i just added a button to change the parent dropdownlist

 Why did you use above code

This is what I want to do, when I click Edit Button it will get the data in table then it will send it to dropdowns.

That's the reason why I am asking how to get the child dropdown data when the parent dropdown was changed using jquery

As you are setting values of Dropdownlist,so it must prior to be populated

So you mean Sir that there's no solution into it?
