Filter GridView based on DropDownList outside GridView using C# and VB.Net in ASP.Net

HiI have a dropdown list which is outside the gridview Gridview in templateField not able to bind the data to the gridview from outsidePlease let me know how to achieve it

I have done myself only one thing i did here dropdown selectedindexchange I called the gridview and in rowdatabound method added dropdown filter condition then it worked to me
