saving data in application or session

i have performance issue when accessing the web application which is datacentric amp populaed in a gridijust came across storing the data in applicatin or seesion using datatablei have cutsom paging amp navigation causes lot of time though i display records on request mean my page size is 75 records  page amp at at time only 75 records are fetched i have a query accordingly with the total records of 6780 recordsi need to optimize the performace so how do i save it in session or applicatin

Custom pagination is the best thing for this If you store data in session it will require server to have a heavy size RAM since Sessions are created in RAM and if your site has 20 users at a time 20 Sessions will be created hence unless you have an High end server it does not make sense storing in sessions

Do the following1 Do RDP to server check performance2 Access site from internet and check performanceIf 1 and 2 both yield same results then code has problemOtherwise it can be following1 Heavy images2 Low bandwidth from server3 Slow internet
