hello friends,

i am using below multi select dropdown.

i am facing issue while displaying selected values

below code works fine when i try in browser console

$('#seldtieditplantrights').val(['ARB','ASK']).change();

but when i use this inside button event means it will not working

alert(converted); // 'ANI','ARB' 
$('#seldtieditplantrights').val([converted]).change();

<select class="select2" id="seldtieditplantrights" multiple="multiple" data-dropdown-css-class="select2-purple" style="width: 100%;">
    <option value="ANI">ANI</option>
    <option value="ARB">ARB</option>
    <option value="ASK">ASK</option>

Hi sureshMGR,

You need an array to set the values.

Refer below example.
