i want to scheme for each vehicle_id with empty end_date_time will update with begin_date_time when i add new record with same vehicle

for short explanation just like this?

no. vehicle_id      begin_date_time       end_date_time      active

  1       1                      2017-04-13              null                1

when i add new

vehicle_id= 1

begin_date_time = 2017-04-13    (when save this date update/                                                      insert to end_date time for no 1

end_date_time  = null

active = 1

Still your requirement is not understandable please can you give more specific detail about your requirement?

its my sample

for each vehicle_id where end_date_time = null then end_date_time filled with start_date_time when i add new data with same vehicle id

the methode that you made before is insert value end_date_time for new data but not update end_date_time before which it should be update with begin_date_time (new add data)
