I need to export an word document and save it in a folder which is in the project filder with out asking any open save dialog box in asp.net

Well in Web Technology your logic is on server and and works in browser thus you don't have much persmissions, to access folders, files of user machine else it will be a boon to hacking.

If you are so keen doing this, develop a Java Applet or ActiveX control that user will install from your site and then it will do necessary work
